Renegade Christmas Craft Fair

I am delighted to be part of the amazing Renegade craft fair on Brick Lane once again this year, this weekend coming on Saturday and Sunday. November 22 & 23rd 11am until 6pm. I've been hard at work in the shed making lovely sparkling stars and butterflies, many of which are one-off pieces not available on my website. All my renegade favourite people will be there too. Come along and meet me, see all the beautiful unique pieces I've been making sparkling in the soft Christmas lights. My wedding features in Love My Dress!

I recently wrote to the Love My Dress blog about my celestial themed wedding this year in February.

I found that love powered the whole event start to finish, and friends were very generous with their pom-pom making time. You can find the kind of tissue paper pompoms we made here

I've been in the Bead Shed busily sewing new sparkling things of the bridal variety- the collection is taking shape; watch this space!

My new Bridal collection is blossoming

On this lush wet day the garden outside my workshop is all in greens and greys and tiny flowers are beginning to emerge, covered in shining raindrops like beads. I'm inspired and thinking of my wedding day as I develop my new bridal collection. I'm using my favourite satin colours, a lovely range of subtle ivories and creamy candy colours perfect for light sparkling cherry blossoms. This is one of my works in progress and I love the new flower shapes I've been developing. The tiny gold plated dragonfly and the bright gold Swarovski crystals and pearls lend a luxury air to this simple,delicate pretty band, perfect for brides and bridesmaids of all ages.

These are the pieces I developed for my own wedding earlier this year. I was inspired by the galaxy to work in pure golds and star shapes, making adjustable pieces to fit all my gorgeous bridesmaids. Here we all are having the most wonderful day! 

Today I'm very proud to announce the official opening of my new online shop! To celebrate the opening of the new shop we have an exclusive discount code for all our lovely customers. Spring!

Wasn’t the winter so LONG? As much as sparkling frost and cosy fires inspire me I’m glad the whirlwind of Christmas is over and now that we are finally seeing buds and blossoms on the trees it’s time to introduce my new Spring collection, and what a collection it is.
Crowds of butterflies and rows of sparkling beetles flutter and settle into delicate collars of sunshine. A galaxy of stars appears all around your head with my new bridal hair collection. The sun is sidling into my garden studio and making all the beads sparkle!

I was lucky enough to be interviewed by Amelia’s Magazine last week, she asked all about my life and inspiration and I told her all about how I work and what make me tick. You can read the interview online and see some lovely photographs and illustrations of my work and here it is

Wow!! You wait 10 months for a blog post and then get two in one day!
